So I am now just getting into the essential oils!!
Today I am going to talk about Chamomile!!
Roman chamomile essential oil (Chammaemelum nobile or Anthemis nobilis) has been used throughout history for multiple purposes. Ancient Romans used the oil for mental clarity and courage during war. And it's said to be nicknamed the "plant's physician", because it supposedly benefitted any nearby plants as well. It's aroma has a fruity-herby scent, some
what sweet, and very calming.
Some uses for this include ...
Apply a single drop topically, or dilute with coconut oil and massage into the area.
May soothe the area and promote healing when gently massaged around the bruise. (Aggressive massage of a bruise can lead to blood clots in your circulatory system - big no-no.)
Inhale directly or through a steam tent. Massage into the reflex points of the feet.
